I can't believe there were that many teams with worse defenses than us.

The cupcakes we played really helped the stats out.

If you look at defense in the SEC, that tells the story.

Or look at red zone scoring

An obvious reflection of the number of "near pick-6's" J Lee through - interceptions that result in the opponent taking possession in the red zone.

I think that scoring defense includes all points scored, not just points scored on the defense. It shouldn't, but it may.

Still, the defense needs changes. Specifically at the DC.

BS! It's a reflection of those repeated 70 yard drives. There were no pick 6s in the Arkansas game, possibly the weakest team we played all year and the result was the same.

Flash! It wasn't RP and it wasn't J Lee that caused this dismal season. There is only one person who is responsible and he is making more than three million a year.

It's always a good idea of weed out the cupcake stats on offense and defense. In that respect, we were 3-5 this year, and our defense was certainly worse than #66 or whatever.
