Anybody know what happened prior to his start yesterday? The shreveport Times reported elbow injury.

Just felt some soreness in his elbow with about 10 pitches left in his warmup.

i heard Mainieri say that Zeigler complained of a "popping" feeling in his elbow during warmups....going for further tests probably today

The story is his high school coach pitched the crap out of him last year. That could cause that in later years

He was hit by a pitch last night. It caught him on the back side of his elbow on his throwing arm. PM said that he lost feeling in his fingers for a few moments. I haven't heard anything else re same. Didn't know he was questionable for the Bama series, although they did pull him from the game last night.

This happens pretty frequently with Tommy John surgery.

Hopefully he'll get the good outcome of the surgery and come back being able to throw 95 like Brian Wilson

this really sucks. He is a good pitcher and a really good kid. I hope for the best.
