Napoli 2 run hr gives Ranaudo a 2 run lead, 5-3.

Sox playing without both Ortiz and Pedroia .

He's got a chance to tough it out, go 5-plus, and pick up the win.

If he can allow 0 runs in the 6th, that would be a solid outing. He's not shutting the other teams down, but he is giving his team a chance. I'm guessing a club would be happy with those decent numbers by a rookie straight out of the minors.

Ranaudo has throw almost nothing but fastballs and isn;t hitting his spots. Just not his day today. Even on outs, he's been hit pretty hard all afternoon

He just gave up one more in the 5th - Reds still batting with just one out, trailing 5-4.

Now out of the 6th, still up 5-4.

He's thrown 91 pitches through 6.

I'd assume Ranaudo is done for the day given they have a guy warming in the bullpen

Cespedes pulled from the game - don't like the sound of that.

How was his velocity? In his first start he threw mostly fastballs at 91-93.
