Who played in the two games from 2010-11. Had nothing but positive things to say about playing in Death Valley. Also said, "I warned Geno before we went down there how loud it was going to be. He didn't believe me until after".

Did he get KTFO by Juice Landry on any kickoffs?

This story brings me joy.

Had similar encounter with a player except he talked about how amazing it was seeing the live caged tiger. The live tiger created an atmosphere of "oh crap we are not ready for all of this".

All I remember from that game was:

A) Be soaking fricking wet from the torrential downpour all day
B) PP7 housing that punt and hitting the Heisman in the endzone.

I met an ex Georgia def. back and he said you had to "concentrate to think" whatever that means. He said the sound was like a weight on you.

Weird, I ran into one as well last week at a graduation, but he was a LB and currently plays for SHSU here in Texas. Said Holgerson was awesome but his staff was shite

I played tennis a couple years ago against David Greene from UGA and he said Tiger Stadium was loud as shite and a very tough place to play.

Now LSU can't have the Tiger on the field because doing so would just make us a bunch of meanies and we don't want to hurt the tiger's feelings

I've been on the field during a game. The roar of the crowd has a weight to it in Tiger Stadium. I don't know how it compares to other stadiums, but I would rate the crowd's energy as only moderate for the game I was on the field.

So, I can only imagine what might have happened in a big game - using Florida 2007 as a somewhat extreme example, at its peak, the crowd noise and stadium vibration made it difficult to keep my eyes in focus because they were vibrating. I was in the bowl, but well over halfway up - just think what it must have been like on the field.

I've been to many LSU away games including...Bama, Auburn, Tennessee, aTm, UGA and the tone of the noise is way different than in Tiger Stadium. Every other stadium can be loud but it's a higher pitch. Tiger Stadium is a loud low pitch that's continuous. I don't know what it is, but Death Valley is way louder because of that...

I talked to a former AU grad assistant the other day. He said that LSU fans were known for putting urine in squirt guns and squirting opposing players as they ran by Mike the tiger to the field.

Maybe urine bags aren't as far fetched as I once thought.

How could he possibly "know" that? I think the earthquake game permanently rattled the whole fan base.

Imagine what's it like on the field during Pre-Game of a big SEC game at night! (GBFTL)

And in their infinite wisdom, the DG's (Delicate Genius's) in the LSUAD want to nullify and lessen the impact of the legendary Tiger Stadium crowd noise, (Even though it's not nearly as loud overall as it used to be) by polluting the atmosphere in there with all that wretched excess piped-in musical garbage.
