i honestly had us 7-5 with losses to UNC before suspension, Fla, AU, Bama, Arky, Fla was no were near as good as thought and Ole Les really suprised me with Bama, for once i can say i was impressed with him

I said 11-1, with a loss to Alabama. I figured Florida would be banged up after they played Alabama, and I didn't see Auburn having the offense that they have.

I was one of the 8% to pick 11-1 this year but
had them at 8-4 last 2 yrs.

I said 11-1 with a loss to Florida in the swamp. For some reason I thought Brantley was going to continue where Tebow left off and I didnt think Cam Newton was going to be fricking superman. I did honestly think we were gonna beat Bama because we outplayed them for 3 quarters last year at their place and injuries killed us as well as PP being out in critical plays during the game.

In August I had no idea what to expect honestly. I figured we could be anywhere from undefeated to having the bottom completly fall out (like Texas). I figured we would probably have losses to Florida and Bama. Didn't figure Auburn would live up to the hype.

I wonder if anyone was thinking 10-2 or 11-1 while they were watching that Tennessee game....

Les has been lucky in a few spots, but he's also done a hell of job this year. Hard to believe he could coach these two quarterbacks to this kind of season.

Well, fellas, we're currently 9-1 and (in my best Ron White voice) you were wrong.

And damn glad for it.

10-2, thinking the O would be improved considerably and D marginally. Quite surprised on both results.
Figured we'd lose 1 of 2 to UA, UF and one to another SEC regular. Awbarn really fooled me.

I said we would go 5-7, didn't think the talent would be used wisely, I think that with a little wiser coaching we could have been national champs

It isn't bragging if you can do it. Which some people clearly could not.

I picked either 10-2 or 9-3, fwiw.

I predicted 10-2 or 11-1. I also predicted the end of the UT game, Auburn going undefeated, the rise of Hitler, the JFK assasination, and Maximus losing his virginity at 28.

I said 9-3. Still possible though, I believe, very unlikely.

predicted 10-2 on my show and my co-hosts slammed me for it and said it was pure homerism.

i also predicted at least 4 losses for florida and said garrett gilbert would be more like jarrett lee than sam bradford his first year starting. got slammed for those statements too. we did a reset of our beginning of the year projections a couple of weeks ago. that was a fun show for me.

If I remember correctly, I said anywhere between 10-2 and 6-6 with the most likely season resulting in 8-4.

To be fair, I had no idea that half of UNCs starters would be suspended, that Florida would suck, that Ole Miss would suck this bad or that Auburn would be this good.

In other words, I missed on a lot of schools, some of which had a direct impact on our win/loss total.

I thought our offense would be much better and didn't know our defense would be this good. I think it all evens out...but in the end, I was certainly wrong.

11-1

But I foolishly thought the offense would be the better side of 70th ranked.

Anyone who picked 7-5 or worse were just trying to be jackasses.
