Yeah, guys. Working for Gus Malzahn, he of the 52 games of coaching experience and the 1-2 record against Les Miles, is a step up from working for Ol' Les. Have y'all noticed that flash in the pan Gus is 15-11 in the past two years? 6-10 in the SEC?

But no, taking a job at LSU is clearly a lateral move or demotion.

It should be duly noted that his last actual coaching was done at LOUISIANA TECH. He never even unpacked his bags at Texas Tech. Was only there a month.
