Quick thoughts on Coach Miles

I've been a Tiger fan all my life(30), and half of those years I've been highly invested in the program. I have a brief memory of the not so good days and a very fond memory of the last 12-13. For most of it, Coach Miles has been at the helm.
Regardless of how much I hate the offense at times, year in and year out I have overwhelming optimism that we can succeed and be special. One person is to thank for that. Although I am optimistic that things can be better, it's a bit sad to see that today may be the end of what will one day be considered a legendary coaches tenure.
Thanks for a wonderful 11 year run Coach. Always represented us well despite adversity and overwhelming criticism at times. You will be missed by many of us.

My honest feeling is that there are several coaches that could get the wins he has gotten at LSU. At the same time there are a few coaches out there that could get the wins that Miles could not get.

And yet, no one in the history of the program has. But, but, but...the next one will!!! Lol.

Quick thoughts
He could fall into a barrel of S*** and come out smelling like a rose.
What other coach of this poor of caliber can make 50 million in 11 years.

No coach could have done what Miles did in his first few years here.
Lately I would do better!

Miles downfall is that he could not recruit or develop QB's, i think we can all agree that if we had just average qb play in the past to go along with our great defenses that we did have we would be looking at more Natty's in the trophy case. Mett was not his recruit and our defense was suspect it sucked to finally have a qb and be let down by that side of the ball. I think that is the main difference between us and bama is they always at worst have average qb play

And when Harris makes a typical progression from true sophomore to junior, it will only be because Miles was fired, right?

He is one of the worst game day tacticians in the game.

Without Chavis falling into his lap, this would have gotten ugly with Offenses that ranked in the 80's and worst. If by some means Miles keeps his job it will get bad, We have fallen from 3rd in points allowed to 50th. And if the defense don't keep us in the games or win them we are in Bad Shape
