I don't like to give out too much info from what I saw since the coaches like to keep a tight wrap on things but I will say the music played during the second half of the scrimmage was:
Calvin Harris - Feel So Close
Flo Rida - Good Feeling
James Brown - I Feel Good
Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling
Train - Soul Sistah
I think I remember Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones as well

Agree on most of Bil J's points. I did think that the d-line looked better than the o-line, but like he said the o-line was missing 2 starters. Hill, Eugene and Jalen Mills all looked very good. James Wright continues to impress me at every scrimmage I have gone too.

Eh I keep anything I see they wouldn't want out there to myself.

The OL didn't look bad, that is just one difficult DL to block. I would have liked to see Sam and Faulk battle though.

Get ready folks, this is a special group and this is the most excited I've been leaving a scrimmage in a while

Wow I felt just the opposite. I thought they looked slow and besides the one long ball Mett looked average. I've beeen to every major scrimmage the last few years, Mett obviously was hurting today, appeared to be back or hammy. Lots of time to improve offensively and the #1 D looked great..

The #1 offense looked slow, they went mostly against 2's nobody got wide open and nobody broke a run more than 10 yds. Plenty of time to improve to satisfy the lust of the rant.

Well you're one of the few to leave not happy with what they saw, most left pretty excited.

I'm glad to hear it,I wasn't disappointed just far from blown away. Without a doubt missing two starters up front had something to do with it but I've seen Mett look much better than he did today .

Yeah I don't have a problem with any of the information you gave out. I wasn't trying to call you out or anything.

It is tough to really get a feel from these scrimmages. This was also the first one of the year and the defense appeared to be ahead of the offense which is usually the case at first.

I will agree that Mett had some really nice throws (including the deep ball) but did try and force some. He didn't look like Joe Montana or anything out there, but is a definite improvement from last year. I didn't leave overly excited or disappointed. I left with a similar feeling as usual.

You can tell a lot more about individual performances from scrimmages than you can of certain units.

How did Blue look? I hear that he and Hilliard possibly lead for playing time. Lol, that would mean the two leading rushers from last year would be #3 and #4.
