I am working on a project and need some help. I need to know if the outside exterior on the East side of Tiger Stadium has been renovated to have colored lighting as well ? All my present references show the lighting to be white. I have photo's of the North Side and the West Side, just not the East...

The East side is not as easily visible as the rest of the stadium. This is the best view of the east side I could get. The north side is the only side that I know of that has colored lighting. Now in 2014 when the south end zone expansion is complete, it may have colored lighting.

Thank you, every little bit counts. The photo that I currently have was taken from the parade field and is has it with the white lighting in the concourse area. In reading, the only colored area i can be positive about is the North and West. I'm sure the South will have color.

Are you talking about this colored lighting through the windows on the north side?

the only side of the stadium that has that type of lighting is the north side, which is the picture I last posted. This picture is of the west side and you can see where the lighting is white once it goes behind the the large posts holding up the upper decks.

I think you may be getting your directions wrong on which side of the stadium is which. Just to clear things up, here they are.

SOUTH SIDE

--------------------------------------------------

WEST SIDE

--------------------------------------------------

NORTH SIDE

--------------------------------------------------

EAST SIDE

No I got it straight and you've helped me. The East side is what I am trying to be sure of. I am working on a painting which the view is if you were standing on the front steps of the Law Building. This view has the Memorial Tower and the Stadium. I am trying to be sure as I have found nothing to support that view has color.

No problem. My only little glitch is this one point about the darn lighting on that side.

After looking at pictures online, Im 99% sure the lighting on the east side windows is white. I haven't found any pictures of it, however I see no reason why they would add colored lighting to a part of the stadium that is barely visible due to the poles and stairs for the upper deck covering it up. Also the I think they would have added colored lights to the west side if they added them to the east, since they spent so much money renovating the west side exterior recently. Good luck with your painting though. I hope it turns out as good as this one.
