I asked this question in a thread, but I want to see what the rant's opinion is on this. It's obvious that most of the fanbase will stick behind him even if he loses 5-6 games because of his record at LSU. My only question is this: What do you think the fanbase would think of Les if he wasn't such a great guy? If he had the same record and trend as he has now, but has a nick Saban attitude. Do you think people would still back him because of his record?

No one would back Les with 6 losses

Your question is dumb.

Click on any thread on the rant and this question will have been asked multiple times. The answer is no. 6 losses and no one would have a problem with him being fired.

Jesus of Nazareth could be coach of LSU and would be fired for 5-6 losses. Miles is a good guy, but , thats not the only staying point. Let him lose 5 next year and i'll drive him back to Michigan on my bike (back pegs)

Why would anyone want an a-hole who loses to stick around?

First of all, he lost 5 games last year and most people are fine with it. I took it a little over board with 6. Most of the people on here are pretty much on the same page when it comes to wanting him gone. The point of this thread is to ask if people support Miles mainly from personality or his record?

he could fall to 5-6 losses in a rebuilding yea, but no way he could weather that on any kind of consistent basis. 5-6 losses is one hell of a lot different record than 2 or 3 losses...

They ran John Brady out because he was an a-hole that nobody liked.

You obviously haven't seen the Les Miles cult that exists on this board. In their eyes he can do no wrong. If this occurred, it would clearly be someone else's fault.

Totally agree, I was just saying that for argument sake. Not meaning him lose 5 games every year. Would people still back him with 3 losses a year, and not such a good guy?

Don't bother trying to figure it out. It's just one of the typical retorts that you can expect from one of the members of the Les Miles cult.

Did you hear the media yesterday and see the post game puke fest?

You damn right there would be a lot of people behind him right now if MSU had kicked that FG and if UF would have had it together just a little more in October.

Pretty sure I'm perfectly fine bud! I don't hate Miles at all. Just asking a question. What's your take on it? Besides your great response of "deal with it"
