Question about Kim Mulkey

First of all, I want to state how much I love the hire. Great job by LSU. My question is in regards to “coming home”, according to wiki, she is from California and I know she played ball at La Tech. Aside from her son playing ball at LSU, what part of LSU is “her coming home”?

Grew up in Tickfaw. Play high school and college ball in LA. Started coaching in LA

She moved here very young and grew up and did all her schooling/basketball career in Louisiana

My brother is married to her cousin living in Ticfaw. Her entire family is from Ticfaw.

She was born in California because her Dad was stationed there in the Military.
