Doesn't the elimination of McMillan and Narcisse create a clearer path for QB recruits, who no longer see a logjam at the position? Thoughts?

Certainly

Key factor is how well we look this year, but yes we have a seat vacant in the QB room now.

Not by much. Brennan is still in the same class as Narcisse who we guess beat Narcisse out. McMillian was a redshirt junior, so he would not have been here much longer. As a recruit, you still have to compete against Brennan long-term if you come up within the next two classes, but the team needs guys who will compete for that spot.

Hiring a proven QB developer would help more for recruiting than how many QBs we have on the roster. It baffles me that we havent done this already.

In the works. Tried to get Sean Salisbury to campus this year, but the deal was nixed by the NCAA due to his QB Academy that he runs. The plan is to work through the red tape and get him cleared for 2019.

You think Salisbury could come in next year? That would be an awesome hire.

having an OC that can develop qb’s would’ve been nice. So the staff is working on getting someone to develop a qb because their isn’t one coach that can do it now. Sad

If you were a high school hot shot, would Brennan scare you off?

Are you using Danny Etling as proof that this staff can develop QBs?

The thought that Peter Parrish(19) and TJ Finley(20) should be more secure in their commitments now did enter my mind...

worth noting he performed only slightly worse (meaning there was pre-2017 development) when he came in 2016 after BH was benched.

So Cam deserves a share of the credit there. As much as I hate to admit it.
