Les Miles on Sunday night said that LSU’s dozen bowl practices will be a time to evaluate the position. “Absolutely it is. You betcha,” he said when asked. “It’s that time that you can continue to compete, continue to press your quarterbacks to throw it, run it and do the things that we’re going to ask them to do,” Miles continued. “If they have designs on being a leader on this team and being that quarterback, this will be a very competitive time even before the game.”

CLM has said something similar to this before, hasn't he? Do you think Harris will get a chance to play in the bowl at all?

Harris will play when LSU is either up or down by 35 points in the forth quarter.

Harris will play when the coaches think he is good and damned ready and the rest of you should stop bitching/obsessing about it.

CLM makes it clear he does not read and listen to comments from TV, Newspaper or the TR

HE appears to be very comfortable listening to himself

It never hurts to HOPE that CLM and things will change

Only if it gives us the best chance to win, will Harris or Jennings play. Miles will want to win the game vs play for next yr or Harris or Jennings development for 2015.

It's been said before, but most coaches don't want QB controversy so you'll not see Harris unless it's necessary or a huge blowout. Harris will not come in to "save the day."

Yeah, I bet there's a lot of that going on. Les is begging Jennings, Harris, and Cam Cameron to unleash the air raid but they're just not responding to his pressure.

Im sure it's less about the controversy and more about keeping the intensity level at these last practices as high as possible.

No. He could complete EVERY throw in practice, memorize the playbook, be the first to arrive & last to leave at practice, etc. and Jennings would still start even if he were on crutches.

Unless the running game explodes, expect a very boring offensive game plan which will make the game a lot closer than it should be.

Like when the coaches felt Beckwith will play when he damn well is ready too.

Clearly

Miles wants Jennings to be the guy and Miles doesn't like being proven wrong so I suspect Harris will ride the pine like he has done the last half of the season.

Miles and Cameron are both great liars about QB development.

I say that Harris will not take a single meaningful snap from scrimmage. Not one.

Not a chance. Les loves having a qb with little or none playmaking ability

But not on Dec 30, 2014. Does this make sense to anyone other than Miles? Speak up.
