With Harris, Jennings, McMilan currently on the depth chart, then Etling and Franks next year, is this the first time ever that Miles had more than 3 scholarship QBs on the roster? I'd hope Harris is the guy until he graduates but this could be the "breaking of the Perrilloux curse." We could actually build up our young QBs and start them as JRs not FR.

It's certainly the most depth of talent we've had in a while.

Harris, Jennings, McMillian, Franks next year is pretty great. Jennings isn't very good, but he has tons of experience and knows the offense.

Franks is the guy that can break the curse.

Jennings going to FCS? He would sit out his senior year otherwise.

Jennings should switch positions. It's his only chance if he wants football as a career one day. Slim chance but will never make it as a qb.

Where would he play? Stacked at every position and he has only played qb in his career. He will either transfer or he will be the back up for his last year. I'm pretty sure if he transferred he could Rs. like etling is

If our history is any indication, 2 or 3 will transfer.

Yes Jennings has a red shirt year coming, if he doesn't play this year.

Or start them as a RS Soph if we're that deep

Would be nice to have a 5th year senior QB in the system

We have been saying this for quite some time now. Just the other night in fact.

Georgia State or Georgia Southern have his name written all over their campuses.

Harris, McMillian, Etling and Franks next season.

BTW, still not enough evidence to make the case for BH and his Passing attributes........

McMillan wants to redshirt and that benefits us if Etling is ahead of him. I still believe he will be a solid qb for us if we need to call on him sooner than later. I don't think Jennings transfers unless he feels like he will lose out on the backup spot. I'm interested to see what Etling does to the qb depth chart. I wouldn't mind seeing him explode in the spring and really challenging the qbs that have already seen the field. It is still Harris' team and job, but it's not so secure that he can have dud performances in the SEC and keep it. I won't freak out until I see more of Harris against the SEC. As far as depth, it's the best depth we've had since J Russ and Flynn.

Agreed that depth is and apparently will continued to be a strength in the near future. If Franks could effectively challenge Harris and Etling for the starting position in his first year in the system then we certainly will have some superb depth.
