Does Romero have a shot this year? I know he has an arm but seems like he's 0-3 every scrimmage this fall.

I think Romero will be an adequate backup to spell Papierski when he needs a break on weekends and will also get some starts during the week. He could come around at the plate with more time to get used to this level of pitching; Papierski has shown much improvement in his at bats over last season.
