I completely agree. Quick question, have you supported Les Miles?

Pumpers as you call us, defend Les Miles, not because he is Les Miles but because he is LSU's head coach.

And many of us expected the media backlash, that LSU is now experiencing, if you negative Tigers got your way.

Well, you are getting it and you better damn well hope dumbass joe Alleva can pull off the Jimbo poach or its gonna get bad and LSU might wind up hiring me or you as head coach.
This completely sums up my feelings. ____ is our coach, so I will support him and hope he does the best he can, and that the best he can do is good enough.

We aren't 3-7, we are still 7-3 and not too long ago, we had a guy on the cover of Sports Illustrated. This team and program isn't awful, even if it's not as good as we would like. Despite all the hysteria, we have an offense that features highly recruited true sophomores at QB, RB, and WR, with more highly recruited freshmen right behind, and (until now) a steady stream of more such talent on the way in. Imagine we played the McNeese game, none of this was happening, and we go ahead and win at home vs A&M and our bowl (wouldn't have been surprising). That means the Harris/Fournette/Dupre class would be 8-5 as freshmen, 10-3 as sophomores. No reason to think there wouldn't be another step forward next year as juniors.

My whole point with that is, if this were any other program in that situation, doing what we are apparently doing, we'd all look on in amazement and say "Jesus, what arrogant dumbasses they are". That's what everyone else is doing to us right now.

Nobody is bigger than the team. I will be a posit-tiger during the next coach's tenure because I don't believe in publicly tearing down a member of said team. I defended Les because of this view.
With that said I will miss Les but nothing lasts forever .

I think the Pumpers are scared to death that a new coach comes in and does more with the offense than Miles could. They don't want to be proven wrong, thus all their predictions of bad seasons to come.
then you're an idiot.

i like les miles. i look at his results and think they would be tough to duplicate. i think firing him with the assumption we could do better is foolish. if this happens then lsu better have someone lined up that is at least on paper an upgrade. i will support whoever the new coach just like i supported les miles. i bet i support the new coach longer than you do. i bet you jump ship at the first sign of him faltering.

Forever LSU.

We are now down to just 3 Ranters that have not started this topic.

And the best part is it's as fresh as it was the 3,698 previous times.

You're a nega-Tiger, so you can't comprehend that we who love Miles would never root for anything above LSU, hence this incredibly shitty thread.
