Proposal: LSU should always play its first two games on the road

And have its home opener the third week in September. Eliminate most of the weather issues altogether.

Yeah because playing on the road for the opening game this year really avoided bad weather.

This year was a road game. South Carolina and Florida were both road games, so the first two weeks of the season don't mean a thing.

In 2018 we should begin our season as follows...
Game One---Miami in Arlington
Game Two---North Carolina in Atlanta
Game Three---Notre Dame in Soldier Field (Chicago)
We'd be "OK" after that. :-)

Yea that is a great way to reward the loyal Season Ticket Holders and Business owners that support you.
The last time LSU Played a top 10 Non Conference opponent in Tiger Stadium? When? I think Virginia Tech.
Yea Charge us the same amount for one less home game?????
Yea keep the TAF Fee at an all time high with one less game!
Business Owners, resturants make TRUCK LOADS OF MONEY ALL WEEKEND when a good team comes in! Significant Boost!
frick LSU'S AD Department and TAF.. Ask TAF and Rick Perry How much money would TAF Raise if they did not have the Seat Surcharge! They wouldn't make DICK! They don't know how to raise money other then charge for rights to the ticket!

You're acting like LSU is the only team in the country that plays neutral site games to start the season.

It's not that easy to get top 10 teams to come to BR.

That's not the point. The point is to Bring Value to Ticket Season Holders and people of the community that support you literally day in and day out! Get calls asking for Gift Cards for raffles or door prizes for events. Here you go, no problem. Thanks for bringing us NOTHING in return.
Go ask TAF there big guy how much they raise without ticket surcharge fee and then put it up to another university like Florida and watch them run circles around our fund raising efforts!

I completely agree and taf fees are only going to go up!! It's complete BS! We have a neutral game to start with the Florida home game being moved to Florida and our ticket total cost is the same! My brothers and I have 8 season tickets that were our father's and our grandfather's before since the early 1950's and it's becoming more of a pain in the arse to justify getting them every year with higher costs for less of a product.
Not to mention that the spot our family and friends have tailgated since the 70's was just taken from us for a new corporate sponsor tent a few or more years ago.
Trying to sell 4 tickets on the 40 yardline now at a loss because of the shitty per game cost for an even shittier home schedule. Pm me if interested
