People are overlooking Evan Washington, who played over Pocic at RG and RT every time one of the two went down. Washington is an athletic senior who mostly likely has the edge.

POCIC will start somewhere and I got a feeling it is going to be at center. We need a guy who can see a blitz coming and call it out and who does not consistently how you say...SUCK....Porter goes to bench

Porter doesn't suck. He did pretty well this past season. Better than most of y'all expected.

I'm guessing he needs to improve his foot work/pass blocking, but I saw Fanaika destroy someone in the big cat drill last spring or in the fall - moved his opponent out of the picture with ease. (You could hear the "holy shites" in the background.) Does anyone know how he's progressed? Does he have the work ethic?

I remember Miles being very high on Boutte and making a point to talk about him and his strength. I would guess pocic annd Boutte battle for the starting gig with Washington being the utility guy.

My guess is from L to R:

Collins
Vadal
Porter
Boutte
Pocic (beats out Hawkins, and built more for T than G)

Really, whatever the lineup, we're gonna be good. Collins and Alexander will play in the NFL. Porter is a solid, smart center, Hawkins has potential, and then we've got a behemoth in Fanaika, a versatile utility man in Washington and two talented freshmen in Pocic and Boutte. We'll find five good starters out of that 8-man rotation.

Factor in Magee and Hilliard coming back and us signing Fournette and Williams... we may have the best pro-style rushing attack in the conference next year. At the very least we'll have a superb run game to complement whoever wins the QB job.

I hate it when people do this, but I think this thread deserves it:

THE ONLY WAY COLLINS DOESN'T START AT LT NEXT YEAR IS IF HE GOES PRO. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU PEOPLE THINKING.

I dunno, I could maybe see him sliding to right tackle if the coaches want Pocic at left.

The more I think about it though the more likely it is that they would put Pocic at RT.

I just don't see Pocic being a guard or Porter losing his starting spot, so the options left are limited

How about reading the entire fricking thread and maybe you can see where some people are coming from.

Or scream at the computer and stomp your feet like a toddler. Whatever suits you

Please please please let our new QB look as good as the hype next season. We will have one of the best offensive lines that LSU has ever had next season and if the QB is decent the sky is the limit!

pocic will start somewhere
Absolutely.

Right now he's the best OL on the team behind LC. Cam loves him. Too tall for Center. One of the tackle positions has his name on it. The next Whitworth. Would like to see what Mawae could turn him into.

Actually I changed my mind. I think we see Pocic take RT as a sophomore while Collins holds down the LT spot in 2014, then Pocic moves over to the left side for 2015 (and hopefully 2016!).

So...

LT: Collins
LG: Alexander
C: Porter
RG: Hawkins
RT: Pocic

C Elliott Porter 6-4 300 Sr.
Ethan Pocic 6-7 301 So.

RG Fehoko Fanaika 6-6 348 Sr. -or-
Evan Washington 6-6 334 Sr.

RT Jerald Hawkins 6-6 301 RSo.
Andy Dodd 6-4 322 RFr.

Can any of these guys move to DT? A ton of size (I'm assuming BY FAR the largest core in the country) We'll need 1-2 big physical guys to step up in Ego/Johnson's place.
