What is the projected D-line next year?
Pep, Josh Downs, Nevis, Montgomery?

A lot of people think Brockers might start somewhere. And Davenport and Edwards will get a lot of pt, too. Should have pretty good depth next year and rotate a lot of guys.

I think we will see Livingston, Downs, Nevis and Edwards primarily. I also hope we see a lot of Davenport and Hicks at DT, we could use their size inside. Still bothers me that Corley transferred, I think he will be a good one when all is said and done...

That is easily the weakest Defensive front that we've had in a long time. Brockers and Davenport better be really good or we are in trouble next year.

Levingston has no business being a starter this season or next. PERIOD. Edwards definitely deserves it but I think Levingston may be the worst DE we've had this decade starting.

I agree. I think the D-line will be pretty solid next year. We definitely have room for improvement from this year.

People talk about Pep but I don't understand why everyone thinks Alem is any good. Teams run at him every game all game long.

It will be very disappointing if any combination of Aghayere, Brockers, Montgomery, and Edwards can't beat out out Pep next season.

He has been a liability all year.

seems like next year should be better at DE and maybe even at DT. I can't wait to see montgomery and davenport, just hope I am not disappointed.....I miss the days LSU = Dline U

at least Alem can get to the QB on occasion.

Pep has the size of a DE with the speed/quickness of a nose tackle.

With the people coming back and a prayer that Chavis will play more of an attack D and not a bend not break scheme we will be very good.

The fact is what we got out of Chavis this year is what we will get next year. That is his style, like it or not. He's not like Saban. He's closer to a Pelini when we started the 2005 season.

That is Chavis for better or worse.

As for Alem? He's horrible. He plays without any intelligence and no discipline whatsoever eventhough its blatantly obvious he's hurting the team. Guess what though? He's a senior and won't be benched no matter how poorly he plays.

The only time I've seen Miles bench seniors is twice. JV and Broussard in 2006 and the stupidest one of all in Chris Hawkins after the bull shite no call drag down in the UF game.

Classy Miles. Stay classy.

Leslie needs to fire himself. That is the only permanent solution here.
