Flaujae will be a starter.

G- HVL
G- Flaujae
G- M. Williams
F- Reese
F- Morrow

But the bench will be much more talented and deeper than last year. As good as the starting 5 is, the bench will get their chances. Plus not having the starters playing nearly 40 minutes a night will be big.

Flaujae was freshman of the year in the SEC. Smith will get a good bit of time this year in rotation though, but she won't be in the starting line up. STACKED

Uh … no.

Kim plays a three guard backcourt with two in the post. I assure you, Flau’jae Johnson AIN’T sitting in favor of Sa’Myah Smith. And this is “position-less” basketball. CKM doesn’t have solidly defined centers (5) and power forwards (4).

Here are your starters and second team:

Starters:

Guard: Mikaylah Williams
Guard: Flau’jae Johnson
Guard: Hailey Van Lith (point)
Forward: Angel Reese
Forward: Aneesah Morrow

Second Team:

Guard: Angelica Velez
Guard: Kateri Poole
Guard: Last’Tear Poa
Forward: Aalyah Del Rosario
Forward: Sa’Myah Smith

And yes. With any kind of halfway decent bench, the second team would make the NCAA tournament as a five or six seed.

I can see that lineup. Morrow & Reese are great rebounders and are both double double machines. Sa’Myah Smith & Del Rosario will get minutes when Kim wants to go big. Smith is 6’2” & Del Rosario is 6”5”. We should dominate the boards on both ends of the floor.

100% agree with all of this. I was just telling someone that our recruited players would still be a top 10 team and make the tournament. Even without these transfers Kim Mulkey would still be on her way to a national championship, it may have just taken her a few more years. You have to realize that without transfers, she and her staff would be recruiting much differently and just out work the competition but she would still have a damn good team. Mulkey is just a different animal and I love it! Genuinely wants to stuff it in everyone’s mouth and she will! I promise you behind closed doors, she’s a ruthless assassin and the best players in the country love that mentality. They could care less what the TV or Twitter says, obviously.

These girls see straight through that BS and I wish the men would see the same thing! Always takes the boys a little longer lol.

I personally see them running several starting lineups. They can go most talent and smaller Bigs…

Pg- HVL
G- M Williams
G- F Johnson
F- A Morrow
F - A Reese

We can go really big

PG - HVL
G - F Johnson
SF- A Morrow
PF - A Reese
C- S Smith/Del Rosario

Add a lot of depth and those girls can play whatever style they need to and play it well.

Like this season, starters will depend upon the opposition. Mulkey will match them up to our best interest.
Carson was a starter until we played a physical team, then she wasn't. But, she was key to our Championship.

Is there any other "football school" that has such passionate support for the women's basketball team?

I think the "wild" fan support is one reason these top level players come to LSU.
