They are beating us at the line of scrimmage. Compare offensive linemen, defensive linemen, and linebackers. Tell me who has a lot more talent and depth.

Saban has been winning the game by winning the recruiting war while Les is eating pork chops.

Yup. They have 5 star defensive linemen who can't get on the field.

I've come to realize this is the issue.

Compare the OLines - Bama wins
Compare the DLines - Bama wins
Compare the LBers - Bama wins

We compare favorably in most other areas and win with DBs IMO

Meaningless article. Our lack of QB development is relevant only regarding what they do in college. I couldn't care less what they do in the pros

Who cares what they do in the pros. LSU has to beat good teams, not look like crap getting hammered.

Saban picks winners at that position. For all the c4edit we give him at selecting and developing defensive players, he has always had an eye for QB'S that are gamers, or have "it"

It's pretty crazy that these top flight programs, haven't produced a productive NFL QB in almost 30 years.

That seems almost impossible for two schools known for putting players in the NFL.
Bama and LSU are the destination for Top NFL talent for all positions except QB.

To know that this QB thing dates back to the Mid-80's.

Obviously college success doesn't equal pro success, but you would think that one top notch guy would have come from either of these schools.

JaMarcus had talent, but was more dedicated to be on MTV cribs than he wanted to be an all pro QB.
