Carl Otis "OK" Trimble trotting on the field in the very beginning of the video. Wound up drowning in '76. First ever black LSU QB.

QB Mike Miley later died in a car wreck.
QB Carl Otis Trimble later drowned.
Somehow beat Tennessee (a rare occurrence in those days).
Finished 2-4 in the conference.
Lost to Aggie.

That veer offense was a fumbling machine year when Trimble had to play qb(rip) and thank god for robiskie or that offense would have been really horrific !
