Miles' LSU teams always rise to the occasion. As many have noted, the Florida scenario was a "perfect storm" and a recipe for disaster. There is no way LSU's O and D-line strength simply disappeared. It will reappear tonight. LSU will run the ball on So. Carolina with great success. LSU will win by at least 10 points, if not more. If not, then I'm wrong.

I agree the defensive coaching has been subpar and I sincerely hope Miles takes a hard look at hiring a proven defensive coordinator in the off-season. But that's the off-season; we need to make due with the co-defensive coordinators this season and hope they can improve.

The Tigers control their own destiny and can get back to the NC game this season. But it has to start w/ a win tonight, which I think they'll get.

LSU win Comfortablly. Against the SEC's toughest Defense and a Coach who is probablly one of the best schemer's in the country. Wake up Tiger Jeff. I am afraid that your going to see another dog fight tonight! I dont think its a comfortable win by any means. This stadium will be almost as loud as Florida was last week.

I would love to agree with you. Only one problem, the tigers have issues that the Florida game showcased. You could see hints of the problem going back o last year. Teams could pass on the defense and now they have figured out how to run against them. I hope you are right, but i have a bad feeling about this game just like I had a bad feeling about the florida game. South Carolina will be up for this game after the way we embarrassed them last year.

27-23 Tigers. 3-1 in conference, 5-1 overall, but the biggest thing to come out of this game will be the perception that our defense still sucks. I'm all for monster defense, I'd like to see us shut out every opponent. But hell, if we WIN every game 49-48, I'm cool with that. Win first, worry about how we did it later.

if we come out on fire, on both sides of the ball, we will win by 10 points. if we play average it will be a fight to the finish. it all starts with the defense. i believe our lackluster d this year is whats creating the urgency to score points and rewriting of the playcalling which is resulting in turnovers. defense and special teams is whats needed to win this game comfortably.

LSU will play better this week, but they are not a dominant team this year. They will win this game and redeem themselves a little on the way to a 9-3 season and a Cotton Bowl berth against Oklahoma St or Texas Tech. They will win that game, go 10-3 and finish the season ranked #12. They will then bring in the #2 ranked recruiting class and compete for the SEC and National Championship next year after bringing in a top DC in the offseason. Top 5 finish next year, at least.

All will be well.

Oh ye of little faith!

I had a bad feeling last week. I have a great feeling this week. LSU will dominate both lines of scrimmage. Believe it or not, we will blitz. We win this game comfortably, but at least 10 points.

No reason to question the Les. Hasn't he proven himself? He'll do whatever it takes to win. He'll tell the def. coordinators to blitz more.

YJ, I'd take 1 point wins the rest of the way! A W is a W in the SEC I't looks like top to bottom the SEC is the Best in the Nation, also look at the great coaches in the SEC.

They may or may not win. NO WAY even if they win out do they go to the national championship. After an arse whipping like last week no way do they go to the MNC game.
