Bain is a junior this year. I'd expect him to return. although I'll admit I don't entirely know if he's supposed to be drafted highly

I agree with you, I think that we get a couple to step up as well.

The point of my post, which I did a poor job of expressing, was that if we don't get a couple of freshman arms ready to go and a couple of sophomores to make the jump then we will be in trouble.

I'm optimistic that we will be able to at least have a serviceable bull pen next year.

Good kid, too. Goes to school with my daughter. Coppell had 5 pitchers throwing above 90MPH this year, including Kodros at 91MPH.

What about the other commit from Coppell? 2018 RHP Rye Gunter.

Honestly, I haven't been able to catch any local sports this spring as we were moving from Coppell to Grapevine the last few months. As does a lot of the area high schools, Coppell has elite sports facilities and produces quality athletes throughout all sports. When the Dallas Cowboys couldn't use their own facility, they used Coppell's indoor football facility. I have no doubt that any player coming out of Coppell has been given the best opportunity to become elite.
