Trindon 4.23 going to set new record at combine since it's been electronically timed. The fastest part of his 100 meters is out of the blocks then the taller longer striders catch him at the end of races. Is better at the indoor 60 meters than the longer 100 meters.

Lafell, Keiland Williams, and Jones dont break 4.5

Hawkins goes 4.47

Charles Scott breaks 4.6

Alem moters through the 40 with a blazing 4.68

For what it's worth, I have Holliday running a 4.18.
Mark me down for this. I'll eat crow if he doesn't break Chris's record.

Doesn't Chris Johnson of the titans hold the record at the combine since it's been electronically timed with a time of 4.27?

I think he is talking about Devin Hester out of Miami that was pretty much a special temas guru for the Bears for his first few years in the league.

Moffit and LSU's training philosophy is to make players bigger and stronger while sacrificing speed in order to be able to physically dominate the oppenents late in games. Take a look at the way our O-line and D-lines just physically took controll and punished oppenents last season. The way our team just beats down teams like La-Tech... Uh? What?

Not trying to be a smartass, but why does Trindon even need to run?

It's known he is faster that everyone there and he runs track and his times are posted weekly (proving no injury).

To me it seems rediculous that he should go there and run a forty. Don't qb's go there and not throw?

I don't see him breaking 4.4 IMHO. I think he hits around 4.41-4.43 range.

Explain.

OK, I retract my earlier statment. I think he runs 4.26 or something if he runs it.

Bowe's senior year really helped him improve his draft status, because he showed he improved his hands and didn't drop passes like Lafell has over his whole college career.

Bowe also had JR throwing to him his senior year plus he still had drops. Bowe and Lafell are clones IMO after their senior years at LSU...

No way they are clones. Bowe is a more physical WR who has speed a la T.O., Andre Johnson or A. Bolden. LaFell is more like a Chad Ochocinco or Plexico Burris. (physical wise)

ETA: Their LSU Bio's have LaFell at a 20 lbs lighter than Bowe their SR years.

Bowe ran a 4.55 at the combine I believe. Lafell is also a very physical WR. They are clones in the way the get separtion from the defender(s) by making strong breaks in and out of their cuts and many times using contact with the defender to their advantage.
