Pretty pumped for this season. Can’t tell you the last time i was this excited to see tiger baseball in recent memory.

What is our lineup projected to be?

1-5, I would assume it to be Morgan, crews, berry, Dugas, doughty. After that I couldn’t tell you other than Thompson or Digiacomo.

If Bianco can pick up where he left off last year, we'll be very very dangerous

Judging by the last 2 scrimmages and Jay's comments on wednesday

1. 1B Morgan
2. 2B Doughty
3. 3B Berry
4. CF Crews
5. DH Beloso
6. SS Thompson
7. RF Jobert
8. C Milazzo
9. LF Dugas

Other guys I think we see a lot of this weekend.
Drost, McManus, Safford, Pearson, Merrifield, Leto, (maybe) Gio, (maybe) Stevenson

ETA: what was bianco's injury that kept him out during the fall?

Berry, 3B
Doughty, 2B
Beloso, DH
Dugas, LF
Jobert, RF
Thompson, SS
Milazzo, C

I'm just sticking with what I said a few days ago. I could see Jay going a few different ways.

I think this is the one. Maybe Dugas in the 7 and bump down Jobert and Milazzo to 8 & 9. Jay has shown Dugas in the 9 is something he is looking at though.

I didn't read into Dugas in the 9 too, too much other than it aligning with him struggling a bit and Jay not mentioning him much. You could read it as getting Thompson up in the order for more at bats (I believe he had him hit for both teams at one point, too) since he'd been out...or read it a few other ways from a rep perspective for he and other guys. Dugas batted 7, 8, and 9 last weekend, up 1 spot each day.

That is all good points. He also said in the interview about his lineup that 6-9 would be who he thinks will be most to least productive. That said would definitely put Milazzo in the 9.

With that said, he seems to like Thompson more than Dugas. He's talked way more about Thompson than Dugas. On the radio a few days ago, he did mention Dugas with Morgan, Crews, Berry, Doughty, and Beloso. "Then you have Dugas who hit 19 homers last year, all in the same lineup."

I put together 3 lists and I hate them all because there are too many options

That’s just the last scrimmage lineup. Makes sense if Maine throws a righty

Lefty/right stagger for most part.

Could easily insert Jobert in RF, Berry to 3b, Doughty to 2B.

Bat Jobert 8th in that same slot I have Safford in. Safford just adds a little speed at the bottom in the other grouping

Crews anywhere but leadoff is a crime

1). Crews CF
2). Berry 3B
3). Morgan 1B
4). Doughty 2B
5). Dugas RF
6). McManus C
7). Thompson SS
8). Beloso DH
9). DiGiacamo LF
