I didn't think my stats were bad. He is very obviously not going to keep an 80% completion rate going forward, and that's not a knock.

I've got him at 65% which is higher than last year and pretty damn good. You are probably right about the INT thought...I threw it in there because shite happens. Tip balls etc. But it is doubtful I agree.

Maybe your expectations are too high.

I also called the game pretty accurate last week with 35-6 prediction. Was 27-0 and could have been 30-0 easily without the missed FG.

I don't remember if I gave stats for Etling last week or not. We should have the same guys do it every week to see who's most accurate?

I think his percentage can go way up this year just for the simple fact that Canada gives his QBs easy throws and works him into a rythme. Etling isn't an inaccurate QB when he's in a rythme. Miles offense was just terrible with getting QBs in any kind of a rythme offensively. I know it won't stay at 80 but it could easily for this game and may even go up some. I think through the season it will be around the high 60s w/ how the WRs improved on their route running and timing. That's a huge part of a QBs completion percentage as well. He could possibly get up around 70% if all goes well. They will need to pass in the RZ and over the middle much more this season. Have to trust Etling more. LSU can't play scared.

He'll go 25/24. That's right, first QB ever to complete a pass he didn't even throw.
