sadly completely agree, he looks like a high schooler trying to scoop the ball

Fraley lf
Laird rf
Bregs ss
Hale 3b
Scivique c
Stevie cf
Foster dh
Zardon 1b
Byrd 2b

This is what I want to see although I think that move for Byrd is too late.

I hate Chinny in this lineup right now..... But given we ain't gonna experiment at 2b during SEC play I don't think you can put Foster at 2b and Chinny at Dh.....i think some version of that is what we will live with.

You want someone who makes good contact like a Laird or Hale in the 2 hole. And it balances the lineup lefty/righty

While we're on the subject 10/10 times I would feel more comfortable with Chinea at DH over 1B. In his 3rd season and he still has trouble with clean picks...

Only problem with him at DH, is you have to either take Fraley/Foster out of the lineup, or put Foster on the infield. Which I'm fine with, maybe he just had a bad game.

everybody had a bad game, he looked good on some double plays against Ole Miss...I think CPM will give him one more go against Arkansas, if the trend continues he will be moved to DH

He's looked shakey before. Double clutching on a ball to turn two. Not alway smooth to first. It takes time, but he's probably or 4th best defensive option there with KRob hale and Byrd being ahead in that order

He had three double plays last weekend. We had three the entire season before ole miss. I'm not writing off foster at 2nd just yet.

Can't argue it, he definitely double clutched that dp over the weekend. I'd be okay with him spot starting at 2nd, but I don't think he'll have the full time job anymore.

pretty much, like ell has said a million times, KRob is the best best defensively at 2B, but CPM seems to be favoring an offensive lineup, which leads him at the short end of the stick.

Dont see him as strong enough for regular slot at either. Spot play as PH, like tonight, but otherwise not strong enough in either spot to start.
