Loved it when Beloso and Crews both said that after they got punched in the mouth yesterday there was no team meeting or post game speeches. They just went back to the hotel and said let's get some sleep and get up and kick some arse tomorrow, paraphrasing. That says a lot about this team and the coach. They keep talking about "leadership" and that is so important on any team but especially a championship team. The women's Bball team had it. Hopefully the football team will have it and maybe one day the men's bball team will have it.

Yeah. But I think in a lot of ways it’s easier to flush a blowout loss like Sunday than a heartbreaker/close game that you lose late.

Sunday was such an anomaly, it’s easy just to say “that doesn’t even count, let’s move on”.

As a competitor, you hate to lose like what happened on Sunday. Personally, I not only wanted to win but to kick their teeth in like they did us. I, to this day...like many of my teammates, still can't believe the high school team I played on lost in the Florida Regionals (5A at the time) to an inferior team that was completely dominated. Athletes remember events Good or Bad for the rest of their lives. You want to win and get revenge.
