That's pretty much what he said. "Can be excellent but can be pedestrian"

I can't remember it all, but he didn't say much...

basically a lot of coach speak about how the most important game is whichever one you are about to play, etc...

he did say that he saw that poche was off, so he pulled him early in order to use him again later...

most of the talk was with bregman about how good he is and can throw accurately without setting his feet...

He said Chicken needs to lock the rant during the game.

Bregman was awesome. Asked what motivates them since they have a top 8 seed locked up. "We play to win. Everytime we take the field we're representing LSU. We're representing the state of Louisiana. We're going to play every pitch like it's our last."

I knew somebody would get rustled by that comment. He said he doesn't throw hard so his margin for error is smaller. He can be excellent, and most of the time he is, but if he's off, he can be pedestrian.

That's not close to throwing him under the bus but carry on. I'm sure this thread will head in that direction

He said game was shite, but entertaining.

Glad we came together as a team and took the victory, but the pitching was shite.

He said he thought Poche was throwing like shite, but did mention he would use him again during the tourney.

That is what he said. He didn't throw him under the bus. He made sense. That is why he is such a good coach.
Bregman gave PM credit for his maturation and making plays by throwing on the run.

Sense of humor...you should get one. I am a huge CPM fan and always have been.

Really because he threw Poche under the bus big time. It may have been true but, jeez, that was cruel.

You said that in the game thread too. I must've missed the joke
