Positive NegaTiger check-in

considering the circumstances i am going to overlook a lot of the annoying shite that occurred in last night's game and just put the win in my pocket.
defense looked great up until the last drive of the first half and the usual occurred offensively once we got a "comfortable" lead though we had a couple things go against us.
the fact that it was our first game of the year, at state which is a team that has the type of playmakers at qb/wr that can hurt us, and got out alive is all that matters, no matter how frustrating it was in the second half.
//starting to listen to little negative NegaTiger S on the opposite shoulder
thank god that guy dropped the 2pt conversion pass
we can not get whipped like that in the 4th quarter. 13-0. what happened to the "fourth quarter program," putting 4 fingers in the air like it actually means something? lack of depth up front was a factor. that 5-play scoring drive of theirs was reminiscent of last year when they went like 98 yards in 3 plays.
moar of what we saw in the first half please, less of that same fricking movie we've been watching for what feels like eternity

I feel pretty good. I love the d. They just got tired from playing so many 2nd half plays. And we have Fournette.
If LSU beats Auburn they will be undefeated going to Alabama.

PosiTiger here - but I'm always that way.
That said, there are some obvious areas for improvement: kicking game wasn't stellar, too many/ill-timed penalties, offense inconsistent -particularly 3rd down (too many 3 and outs, too many 3rd and longs).
We could argue all day about the offense/play calling but I'll look forward to see what improvements happen next week in all of these areas.

Realist here.
I'm extremely happy with a team winning on the road against a bowl caliber SEC team in the first game of the season with a young QB making his second start ever.

Having two TDs and essentially game icing run by Williams called back isn't on the offensive philosophy. Say we do open it up and a young Harris tries too hard to win the game with his arm. He throws a pick, and we're 0-1, the rants narrative simply shifts to Les fricking up the QB position again. Les doesn't get paid for winning against the rant. He'd be a broke mother fricker.
