10 teams in and likely only 2 make it to the super regionals.

OMG

All of those coaches should be fired.

Right?

Maybe bubble teams from another conference?

The bright side is that Ole Miss and ULL can't both reach the CWS.

I feel like there's a culture problem with a lot of SEC teams. It reminds me of Texas football. For a lot of guys growing up playing ball you dream of playing for an SEC team and once you get there you've "made it." In this new era of baseball it takes a certain level of grit and scrappiness that I don't see in a lot of SEC teams. The players carry a certain hautiness.

It also takes more of a micromanagement approach from coaches who must have good instincts and a feel for the game. That seems to be lacking as well...

Looking at where each team was supposed to be I wonder if the SEC was not over rated this season? The bad thing is that several teams are losing outstanding players. I know we will miss Nola as he was good for 20-5 wins if he would have come back.

Texas A&M (3)
Alabama (2)
Kentucky (2)
Miss St. (2)
Arkansas (2)
LSU (1)
Florida (1)
S. Car. (1)

I think the SEC record in the regionals says just that.

Like who?

I know So Car, LSU, and UF all shite the bed, but you can't say they shouldn't have gotten in.

UK, MSU, A&M, Arkansas, and Bama were all on the road and all at least made it to their regional final. I didn't expect any of them to get to the supers, and I'm sure most others didn't either. Did you?

I saw that from this LSU team. I also saw a coach who thought the game was in the bag up 4.
