Obvious you have never been recruited, or recruited anyone.

And how many times has O said he has to recruit Mom as much as the young man... maybe more.

ALL HCs make promises to parents to convince top prospects to sign. It is ALMOST ALWAYS a parent/son decision.

I haven't tried playing Football while wearing a gas mask; but I looked like an arse trying to do normal things in a gas mask. It was not pleasant, at all. I've also worn head gear with plenty of obvious air-flow that still noticeably restricted my breathing. If players say they cannot breath while wearing these face shields, I don't think they're exaggerating.

I also suspect there are options and solutions available that do not require a lawyer one could and should attempt before going that route. It seems a little rude to go straight for that approach.

They are grasping at whatever hope they can that the season will proceed... without some hope of a mitigating measure like the face shields, they would have to concede that trying to play football this season, even a truncated season, is a fools errand.

Mitigating what?

Healthy young adults have nearly zero risk from this flu-like virus.

This is an ill-conceived attempt to appease the proponents of a False Narrative... a losing strategy.

AND

To cash in on the COVID panic by selling 7 cents worth of plastic for 14 dollars a pop. Next step will be for NCAA etc to require the stupid things. Mega-million$ will be made if they succeed with that travesty.

But, but...what about COVID?! The players might get Covid if they have to breathe in proximity to each other.

What is stunning to me is that there are 158 ignoramouses who actually think that:
1. The face shields protect the players from Covid
2. Said shields allow normal respiration

God people are just so ignorant and stupid which spells trouble for everyone else.

What do you know about the journal? Has human respiratory physiology changed since 2005?
