Play it the week after the regular season like 2001.

Granted it is just one conference game as opposed to all of them, so you are moving not only the SEC Champ game but also the playoff selection. But...who gives a shite, there are 6-7 weeks of nothingness between bowl/playoff selections and the actual playoffs. Also it would be fun for the SEC to make the whole country wait while we finish our business.
