Auburn consistently does the same thing that has a lot of variations in it.

The problem is without the right QB, it's a shitty offense.

Jet sweeps. Power. Counter. RB, WR, or QB could get the ball. And as Alabama learned the QB can even throw out of it.

So why doesn't LSU do this???? They are supposed to have the talent......

You know the only thing that matters is W/L record, right?

Do you realize that our win/loss record could be much better if your amazing coach wouldn't have lost; speedy noil, Landon collins, and Cameron Robinson who all would be starting for our team this year. Yet, you'll still be content with a 3-4 loss season when without a doubt our program could be much better with a different coach.

it's called football. it's what teams do. at least the good teams. establish the run, win the game.

I do see the difference. Its doesn't change the fact they run the same play 75% of the time. Its execution that makes it successful. Gary Crowton ran a ton of diff formations. The best way to be successful in cfb is too run 30-40 plays really well. While implementing a few plays during a bye week. No team in cfb runs brand new plays from week to week. Sorry it just doesn't happen.

Agree and disagree.

Seemed like Malzahn tried to run the same offense with Johnson when Johnson isn't as mobile of a QB. So basically you take out the variable of the QB counter off the run, and the defense crashed on the RB.

Nick Marshall is such a good QB at getting that offense to click.

OK.. LSU is one of the TOP TEAMS in the country year in and year out... Why do they struggle so much on offense with these SO_CALLED great players they have brought in????

Holy shite bruh. Youre fricking dumb. Who is speedy KNOWLES and I dont think starting a true freshman at oline is what you want.

I honestly wonder what would happen to this offense if it began to run more misdirection in the running game.

Not be predictable and say you know where we are running, it's your turn to stop it. It works.. but I'm tired of the close games and just getting by when there is a huge gap in talent level.

Because rarely does the state of LA create a great qb.

And it's the few times you over commit to that play that they run a variation and they gut you for it.

You have to respect every aspect of Auburn's running game.

Do you think everyone respects every aspect of LSU's running game outside of the power?

Come on. Every single year Nick Saban( the best coach in cfb) loses to a less talented team. Its why cfb is so great. Be happy that lsu is thought of so high that we get every single teams best game.

NOPE

We're more talented than everyone else and by a wide margin and should beat everyone by 30, even though you'll find the same people bitching that we should be winning because of our FAR superior talent, bitching that we lose all our best recruits to Bama and aTm.

And the world keeps turning.

Look at the last 4 recruiting classes by LSU and Wisconsin.

LSU #3(2014), #5(2013), #10(2012), and #4(2011)

Wisconsin #31(2014), #42(2013), #62(2012), and #37(2011)

*rankings by 247

So the two teams that played last Saturday had a #5.5 class average and a #43 class average. Yet it took till the last minute of the game for LSU to come out on top.

The talent gap is very very apparent. You can't argue that.
