Places to go in Fayetteville

First time up here. Gotta say it's pretty nice.
Anyone have suggestions on somewhere to go tonight while we're here for the game?
Went to Dickson St earlier but it was pretty dead around lunch time. Is there a Walk-Ons type place on or around campus?

I, for one, am glad we no longer play in the a-hole of the universe, Little Rock AR.

Hope you enjoy your trip and be safe

Fayetteville is a very nice town.

I second that but LR has made improvements of late that have made it a lot more bearable.
I'll make my overall judgement after the trip.
Fayetteville needs to liven up a bit before I give them the nod.

Don't get your hopes up. Lots of people are staying in due to this polar chill crap.
I for one will be at the game.

Fossil Cove, Hog Haus (for just a drink), and Saddle bock (actually Springdale) are cool places. Try slim chickens if you wanna taste what Cane's tries to be

For a sports bar with good food we like Foghorns or Grubs.
-There is a Foghorns back behind Baum Stadium. Good place to park for Gameday as well. They have buses take you from that lot up to the stadium and back down after the game.
A lot of fun bars to go on Dickson. We normally go to the Social Club. It is 21+ and sometimes has like a $3-$5 cover charge for guys if there is a DJ. They have free giant jenga, arcade games, darts, shuffle board.
Green Room is a nice pool hall back behind it.
Shotz is a fun place to go and they have an LSU Shot. Though I recommend the Gummi Bear.
A friend says to try Brewskis. A lot of local beers there. They have a really good shot there.
Just really depends on your groups age range on where to go.

A lot of the Dickson bars don't open up until 4.
Farrells, Grubs, Sideways are your Dickson sports bars.
Mickey Finn's is a smoker-friendly joint up near campus.
Its a barhopping kinda street. You just have to give it a few hours. The students don't hit town until around 10, if that early. There should be a happy hour crowd on a Friday, but this weather is dampening a lot of our enthusiasm. Patio weather on Dickson is the best.

Yeah, Brewski's is a good chill spot. All kinds of different beers on tap and its a good example of Fayetteville overall.

All of this. Dickson doesn't get going until 10-11 for sure. Like wrm said, it's a barhopping trip, you don't stay one place all night. You go to Grubbs, then maybe Shotz, then 21st Amendement, then West End or LIT if you're younger then Z

Weather keep you away? My family from Louisiana didn't come either because if the weather. Driving from Bossier then freezing their arse off didn't sound fun to them.

Well, really the weather kept everyone else away.
No one will go with me.
I wanted to go, and I still want to. But I'd have to drive by myself, and that is just dangerous to do that far, especially with impending bad weather in the forecast.
I don't care that it will be freezing cold once I'm there. That was never an issue.
