Place to watch game in Austin?

Was going to be there this weekend and needed a good place to watch the game. Are there any LSU bars there among the sea of putrid orange, or will I just have to force some poor teasip to change one of the tvs at some sports bar off the Red River Rivalry?

Lacacca St. Bar (Warehouse dist. 4th and Lavacca)
Or
Shoal Creek Saloon (9th and Lamar)
ETA: UT v. OU is at the same time this year. There will be quite a bit of burnt orange anywhere you go.

Was already eyeing Lavacca because it's close to the hotel, Shoal creek looks good for LSU crowd. Thanks for the suggestions.
eta: yeah, knowing that, I figured an LSU place would be the best bet to get to watch/hear the game

I haven't been to watch a game at Lavacca St. However, I believe that the "back room" is dedicated to LSU. This has become the place to watch LSU games in Austin (over Shoal Creek) the last couple of years.
Shoal Creek = tough parking. It sounds like you are staying down town, so driving to Shoal Creek and finding a place to park is less ideal than walking to Lavacca St.
Have fun. I know I'll be on my couch.

I have not been to Lavacca St. But I have been to Shoal Creek. Its ok but its small areas and gets crowded fast and you need to get there early to get a table.

Either of y'all heard anything about Scholz Garten? A UT alum suggested it, and the weather seems like it'd be good for a beer garden. Just seems like it may be unlikely any game but UT would be on.

This
This is gameday central for UT home games. Great place though IMO. Worth a call to see if they will have at least 1 TV with the LSU game.

Chicken has a "Where to watch the Tigers around the world" thread somewhere on here. I first thought of referring you to it, but figured it would take too long and be rude.

I did at least do a search for Austin first. Thanks again for the help, and apparently the patience

Thanks for the offer, but I'll be draging my 2 year old away from Thomas the f'n Train at the train festival in Burnett, so I doubt we'd be good company. I don't care (that much) if he bothers UT fans. I'm sure I'll need plenty to drink after the morning. Hopefully the Tigers will play well

So Shoal Creek is the place?
I'll be in Austin this weekend looking for a good place to watch.
