Just curious if anyone has an update on latz. Seems like he could bring some relief to our fatigued starters. Not bashing those guys at all they are pitching their arses off but I think if latz was to make his debut and eat up some innings it would put some gas back in our tank.

I think he is pretty much done for this season. No reason to rush a freshman into action if he is not 100%

You're absolutely correct, I just remember they projected his return at the beginning of the season to be some time late April or early May and i haven't heard any updates in a while.

Would be nice to have him for the post season but CPM is very good at protecting young arms and would have to be fully assured Latz can go without risking further injury before using him.

He was doing long toss before the game yesterday. Not sure if that means anything.

He threw about 75-100 pitches yesterday in RF. Looked good to me.
