There were so few games on tv back then. I saw him maybe 5 or 6 times in person and followed them on radio some.

I still can't get over his numbers when there was no 3 pt. line. I know that gets thrown around a lot, but it's remarkable.

Saw Pete play once, it was his passing that would blow you away, never saw anything like it then or now. Grew up there followed his games at lsu mostly radio. Have watched basketball pro and college 45 years, don't think there will ever be another like him
