Word on the street is that Miles took over play calling in the 4th qtr. Just something I heard.

In his own words, Les doesn't read books.

hmmm

i thought miles said that the first 20-25 plays are scripted. I don't think we ran through the scripted plays by the 2nd quarter.

Scripted plays depend on game situation and field position you stupid phuck

The one thing I learned in these three pages of comments is that the last job in the world that I would like to have is the head coaching job at LSU. I think I would prefer to be a peace negotiator in the Middle East, or perhaps defusing IEDs in Afghanistan or Iraq. It seems like it would be less stressful.

Coach Miles is seen looking in set of (I think) scripted plays, not necessarily a playbook, but I am certainly not above an error. I will be happy to be corrected by someone who actually played the game. I am ASSUMING that he and the offensive side of the staff have determined things that might work. What does this prove? It proves he is looking at something he already saw before. Your love of or distaste for Coach Miles colors the comments. They seem to run from the gamut from at last he’s taking control to what an idiot. “I knew he was taking charge of this anemic offense. He probably never saw this before tonight.’’ I am about a 60/40 or 70/30 supporter of the coach and that, too, colors my opinion, but this guy can’t catch a break. If he looks at the script, he’s an idiot meddling or trying to take control. If he doesn’t look at the script, he is a tool for Gary Crowton oblivious to sanity. You have heard of win-win, this seems to be the epitome of lose-lose for Miles.

Read some stuff today from Bleacher Report, and I thought it was a reasonably good assessment of the condition of LSU football. It is up to Coach Miles to keep improving, and I do see Jefferson as needing work. I want to believe that his game Saturday was an aberration, but I am not so sure. It bothered me that he looked so terribly inaccurate with some simple passes. Lee comes in, throws on exceptionally crisp shot, and I felt a surge of cohesiveness from the team. However, I was at an engagement party that started three hours before, and it could have been indigestion. In spite of that, I really want to see Lee get a shot that goes beyond two plays. I am also beginning to wonder about the leadership role of the qb. Obviously, the most beloved player on the team is the backup qb, and I do remember not too long ago that people wanted Lee on the bench and away from touching a football. I am a BIG BELIEVER IN REDEMPTION. I feel he has earned some sort of chance because I like his work ethic, and I sense that he is smart guy.

Here’s the link if you want see it. One of the better reports.

Ease your panties back up. Every fanbase has its 1% outliers of irrational dumbasses. For LSU they all just happen to be on Tigerdroppings.

It didn't matter what you wrote in that post. You lost all credibility when you linked bleacher report. Take a break and lurk around for a while before posting again.
