Why would they move the LSU locker room to the South endzone?

I figured those are pictures of a new locker room in the South end zone for visiting teams.

I like the pics taken from the north endzone showing the south endzoze expansion. You get to really see the progress. We didn't get one in this update.

Looks like they lined half of the field as well.

this legitimately looks like new construction to you instead of renovations?

I have never been in our visitor's locker room, and I couldn't tell based on the most recent pictures. I went back to the first set of pictures released on 1/22 and feel fairly certain that it's the "home" locker room.

They most certainly did.

I just noticed they're working on the NEZ scoreboard as well:

Duh, they have to remove the burned-in McDonald's logo.

Thanks. They must have added a few more photos. Because I swear those photos weren't there earlier.

Yeah... If you're sitting inside...

If you're in Tiger Stadium, you'll get a nice breeze no matter where.

Idk... Looking at this rendering, that IS a lot of seating... Considering about 20 people per suite x 60 suites, and the club, too.

ETA: Added my observations. I'd say 103,000 is definitely possible. I included possible standing room only in the General Seating capacity estimate.

According to this, there will be 66 suites, each of which will have a capacity of 23 people (according to LSU).

66
x23

1,518

That, plus 3,500 club seats, 1,500 GA seats, and 400 SRO, would come out to an increase of 6,918 to the current capacity.

92,542 + 6,918 = 99,460

Jefferson, thanks for the updated info. I was using old information. But seriously... look at the club seating section (3,500 seats), then look at the tons of seats in the general seating above it. There is NO way in hell that is only 1,500 seats.

Now a total of 3,540 seats in General Admission would put us at exactly 103,000 capacity. Looking at the renderings, that seems perfectly plausible.

Your diagram isn't right. There's 2 rows of suites, then 2 rows of club, then the little section of bleachers up top for "General Seating".
