In Philadelphia for Thanksgiving. Had a LSU
shirt on yesterday. Stopped by people all day long, before
and after the game, giving support to the Tigers. I know there
tends to be a sentiment out there that the world hates LSU, but there us love for da Tigers in the City of Brotherly Love ( I think the people here appreciate the swagger).

Same here in Montana, they certainly love their Grizzlies and Bobcats but the folks that I know I really beginning to pull for the Tigers also.

I lived in Suburban Philadelphia for three years and would always go and watch LSU games with a group of friends at Woody's. Even if Penn State was playing, the bar would put one TV on the LSU game for us. I never experienced any LSU hate there either. That being said, I sure do NOT miss living there. It is always grey and gloomy outside and its too freakin cold.

JJ = Vick or McNabb LOL
actually, to the neutral football fan watching LSU---how can you now like LSU? Special teams and defense are exciting---big plays---and offense never stops coming at ya---whoa and wow! UGA won't know what hit them next week---their poor fans in those all red pants!

We go to Disney world every year and always have an LSU day where everyone wears LSU gear and we always have gotten much love on that day.

The best was disney world after the 2007 championship in Disney during Mardi Gras. Literally, it looked like the state of louisiana was in the magic kingdom. The best was an ohio state fan that came to me while my wife was shopping and said, congrats, great team. I hate the SEC. I just smiled and said I know...

When living up north I noticed that most people with no routing interest in the SEC like LSU more than Bama/Florida/Georgia/Auburn.

There was a thread yesterday on the msb about which school had the most recognizable acronim. Someone who lived in philly said if you mention "lsu" up there, they have no idea what you're talking about. But apparently you didnt experience that?

Well I lived in Lancaster which is an hour outside of Philly and it is the HEART of Amish Country. I do believe a few people may have asked me a couple of times if I was from Louisville but when I was in Philly proper everyone pretty much knew that it was LSU.
