We're pretty good...definitely have improved over the past few years but haven't reached the upper plateau of Bama or LSU. Our skill players are there on offense (our o-line needs more experience), but our defense is way behind. We need better players...I do no think scheme is the issue.

Your skill players are all on offense. Petrino has peaked in the SEC unless he understands that he has to put those guys on defense to compete. That and he's a little bitch.

I think Petrino just had a really bad and dramatic week. Personally, I can give him a pass on how he acted but couldn't give him another if it happened again.

Agree...the whole Ark nation had a rough week so a tough beat down was not an easy way to end it for them. We should still keep the family of that young man in our prayers while the dust is still settling after this game.

That's the problem. He simply doesn't get it.
He doesn't recruit defense hard enough, and he doesn't coach it hard enough.

No. You really can't. You need athletes and the best don't want to go to Arkansas. You had all of those senior WRs and great DEs. This was your year. Be happy with 10-2 and the Capital One Bowl.

I agree with this. We hate you, you hate us. Now lets go play the damn game the way it's supposed to be played, BUT when your arse whippin' is done, stand up and shake the other man's hand.

Petrino's a little bitch.

Petrino thinks a good football team throws the ball all over the field, passes for 400 yards and puts up 55 points while your opponent drops a couple of passes and only scores 49. Move some of those skill guys to the other side of the ball and he may have something.

If TM7 was playing for Petrino he'd be in the slot.

The plays that change games are made on the defensive side of the ball.

Les Miles lost his sister in the off-season in a car wreck, our offensive coordinator was diagnosed with parkinsons at the beginning of the season.
I don't remember anyone asking for charity from the teams we played due to these sad events. Because these events had nothing to do with what happens on a football field...

You're a punk...been a punk all week. Les Miles is 100 times the man and coach that Petrino will ever be. You define AR fans...completely delusional.

There is a difference between taking a knee with 30 seconds left and with 5 minutes left. Jesus Christ!

There used to be something called sportsmanship.

And acting like an adult when you lose.

But it's inexcusable for a coach to try to run up a score when the game is all but over, especially after the week the Hogs have experienced with the loss of one of their players. They were emotionally spent. Miles didn't dis Petrino; He dissed a bunch of hurting kids. It's deplorable. I ALWAYS pull for SEC teams in bowl games, but I will NEVER pull for a Les Miles lead team . . . .NEVER! He has lost my respect and the respect of the Razorback nation.

Don't blitz and we won't throw.

Don't try to pull the "dead kid" card. Our coaches/team/fans grieve with yours over the loss of a student athlete. We've had players die while still students (basketball and baseball that I know of).

Did you expect LSU to lay down and die because your team was grieving? Your offense was looking good and for LSU to take a knee with 7 minutes left could have had a different outcome.

I will never pull for a Petrino led team so I guess we're even.

As far as losing respect of the Razorback nation, the more rational posters have agreed with the fact that if you had a defense and had been able to stop LSU, you wouldn't be on here whining.

Go to a doctor and get that butthurt fixed.

Cover zero with a safety dropping down into the box means throw deep. Les did not call that play. JJ and RR did a sight read and reacted accordingly. Would it have been better to have one of our RBs injure themselves running into that blitz?

That situation can only be blamed on your defensive coaching staff. Seriously.

It was the same thing with the ignorant Ole Miss fans. Our players are doing their job. Even if Les Miles wanted to sit on the score, wtf is supposed to do? Tell them to forget everything he's taught them?

The football IQ of some of these Arky fricks is solidly in the retarded zone.

do you not understand why your couch was mad? He was mad because he thought les was running up the score. The only reason les ran up the score is for style points against bama bc they beat yall as well. And the only reason this was necessary is bc of the fricked up BCS. If your coach wasnt a hothead bitch he could have thought that through and acted appropriately. Instead he lost control of his emotions, just as he lost control of a 14-0 start. Les miles wouldnt have run up the score to disgrace another coach hinting the 4 straight knell downs last game. Tell you coach to suck it up and realize he doesnt belong in the same category with miles. Go Tigers.

First let me again offer our condolences for the loss of a fine young team mate and son. This board would be unbearable if we had lost the game. So knowing how hard this defeat was for you guys, we sympathize. The conduct of your coach is another matter. You win with class and lose with class. This will come back to haunt him. You as fans deserve better. Losing a young player pales to this game, but without the loss of the young man, it would still be hard to stomach. Good luck in your bowl game. Most of the Tiger nation will pull for your team, inspite of your coach.
