I've always liked the CFN guys and I also have long thought that their rankings were more honest and realistic than the major polls. But Fiutak is taking this "team A beat Team B, so they should be ranked higher" thing too far, with Ole Miss being Exhibit A. That's a logical way to rank teams in the first few weeks of the season, but after a certain point, you have to recalculate based on a team's recent body of work.

Most people realize that a team without an OL, a good rb, a suspect swag, and a vastly overrated defense isn't going to make it far in the SEC race. They were fortunate to come away with the bama game as all know, and I'd guess that on a neutral field right now Bama would be a 10 point favorite. Truth be known, Ole Miss struggled mightily with a bad Vandy team....Ole Miss could very well go 0-5 the rest of the way...they could easily lose @ State, vs LSU, Texas A&M, an improving Auburn team and an improving Arkansas team. My guess is they win 2 or 3 of those games and finish with 4 or 5 losses.
There are 3 teams in the Hunt for the NC. LSU/Bama/Florida....that's it.
