I cannot help but think that Alexander is paid, and well paid , to make decisions.
His base salary is $600,000/ yr .
This puts F. King in the top 10% of Univ. Presidents.
His salary at LSU is TWICE what he was paid in his previous position.
King's salary was approved the same day Cam Cameron's was, for the same amount.
The disparity between F. King and Les Miles is interesting...

Public perception might not like that he gets so much money and our academics doesn't. It could also be tough to explain. He should take a pay cut.

disparity? King can't manage a hire and Les can't manage a clock.
King can't develop an athletic program and Les can't develop a QB. Seems similar to me.

Can't you just imagine how much Alexander HATES to think about how much these coaches make?
At least Les is usually in the top 15-20.
LSU, as a whole, is lucky to rank in the top 150 rankings of colleges and Universities.
