OSU has been up and down all year. How the heck could they have separated from anyone at this point?

They mauled Rutgers. That powerhouse.

So Baylor, TCU, OSU, and Oklahoma all have to still play each other. Shouldn't be more than one team standing, if any, at the end of that.

OSU maybe, not sold on Baylor, much like every other year. If they encounter heavy run based team, who controls the clock; they're done. They have to be in a shoot out to win. defense is mediocre at best.

Shouldn't you be happy about this? Your negativity was on full display in the game thread.

I'm watching college football final right now and Galloway's top 4 is...

Ohio St.
LSU
Clemson
Baylor

Joe Tessitore said LSU would be his No. 1

quote: if you look at Baylor or TCU's schedule it's crazy how neither plays anyone til November........except for Florida, the same can be said for LSU. The Tigers' 2015 schedule is backloaded, any of the November opponents could win, whereas realistically only one of their first seven (eight?) foes could

LSU's massive Oline and backs would run all over the soft Baylor D thus controlling the clock keeping their O off the field. Not to mention they haven't played a Defense like LSU. I do hope there QB is ok.

Pain or no, can't see Baylor, one hell of a med school, clearing someone with a broken neck for play under any circumstances. I'm no doctor, and I slept on my own couch last night, but the risk of nerve/spinal injury seems way too great.
FWIW, Baylor Med is in Houston, not Waco.
The neck fracture will bench him.

It is possible that the fracture might not be as serious as it sounds, depending on its exact bony location, and on which vertebrae. That said, the way he sustained it (head down, straight on) does not look promising for him at all.

Definitely won't be more than one. TCU is the most likely to run the table with Baylor's qb out. But they'll get destroyed in the playoffs with that defense.

OSU put Barrett back in as qb and have won the last 2 87-17. They seem to just operate at a different level.

Most of you didn't watch the snoozefest last night and I don't blame you

You mean their schedule as a snooze fest right?

1. Virginia Tech (they lost again, Beamer ball is no more)
2. Hawaii (do they play football?)
3. Northern Illinois (decent program, but It's North...)
4. Western Michigan (Ok, we played Eastern)
5. Indiana (another power house)
6. Maryland (they don't even have a head coach)
7. Penn State (ah finally a football program, but we know the deal)
8. Rutgers (no comment)
9. Minnesota (No comment)
10. Illinois (no comment)
11. MSU (at home)
12 Michigan (in the big house, should be a good one!)

So you don't play a ranked team until the end of the year

You don't play a ranked team away until the 12th game of the season

The conference schedule sucks in terms of interest

And will play 3 top 15 teams in a row to end the season. Tell me about that SEC grind with Arky auburn and A&M

Arky, Auburn and A&M would be upper third of your conference year in and year out.

I agree that with Barrett at QB, OSU is better and will probably win out and finish in top 4

No they wouldn't haha

They would be at best the 5th best team this year behind Iowa and way behind Michigan MSU and OSU

Auburn and Arky may be worse than Indiana and Rutgers. They just aren't good

It is a wonder that OSU is still undefeated with that brutal schedule...
