People are just stating obvious rumors and saying "done deal", no inside sources

They are hoping the obvious rumors turn out to be true, so they can be looked at like the next belowpar.
E-cred on a message board is very important to some of these kids.
I hope Les comes back for a year, just to make these attention whores disappear.

I relay what I hear from ppl who have an impeccable record because I love TD and I understand the thirst for information. It's YOUR choice to accept it or not, but to assume we are simply taking a gamble to be compared to some guy who doesn't even post here is asinine and frankly desperate on your part.

Because I have been through it on here several times.
I have seen it happen every year or so.
Perhaps you are too new to remember when Saban was going to leave Bama and come back to LSU.
Or Spurrier was at TJ Ribs working on a deal to coach the Tigers.
When Del Rio was replacing Miles.
Jerry Rice was going to be our WR coach.
Miles was gone to Michigan.
All these were "done deals" by people with "inside sources". And the people on this board ate that shite up.
And here it goes again.

In all honesty that is pretty sad.
All he has said is that Jimbo will be the next coach....and when it is done or announced doesn't matter. Literally you or I or thousands of others could have done the same thing, and would probably have been proven right because it was absolutely no secret LSU was going after him and widely known that he had interest.
Did you hear this DALSU guy earlier last night...when people starting questioning him, he started going off on them. If I am someone truly well connected.....I wouldn't care if you believed me or not....
I do believe an agreement in principle has been reached...but this is certainly not a done deal just yet....I'm not sure DALSU or some of the other rant attention whores actually understand what done deal means.
I'm still holding out for Chip Kelly as OC, and co D-Coordinators with boom and Pelini....ha

Let me ask you something...what makes you think this is a can't miss hire?
Yes, Jimbo won a championship at Fla. St...but he literally has much more talent than everyone in the ACC until Clemson this year....and so has had a great record due to that. He was fortunate in 2013 to play an Auburn team for the NC that lost to LSU, and most definitely should have lost to Georgia, and Alabama...and I believe one other team...Georgia was complete shithouse fluke luck...and I suppose you could say Saban fricked up in the bama/auburn game. Credit to him nonetheless for winning the NC that year.......
Last year he breezed through a weak
ACC...only to lose in the playoff by 39 points.
This year he lost to Ga. Tech already, Clemson, and still has Florida for another possible loss.
I think it could be a solid hire....but I'll be honest...I'd much rather had Chip as HC/OC and Boom as DC...while retaining O and Frank.....
