People might not like Coach O's Record but

He has been around some very successful teams. so who's to say he has Learned A lot from his mistakes and picked up a lot of Great things along the way

he was sitting at home when les called him to coach because nobody wanted him as a head coach

He had this experience prior to Ole Miss.

And he went 3-21 in conference after convincing the AD to hire him using the same rhetoric.

shouldn't this be a red flag though?

he has been around a lot of very successful programs and he has been a successful interim HC before...

...and yet after all of that, he is/was still a barely sought after DL coach

elite coaches are almost always identified early in their career

No he did not, he did not have head coaching experience prior to Ole Miss and tried coaching the entire team like he did his d-line and micro-managed everything...

He has acknowledged these mistakes and changed the way he does things and has taken advice from other head coaches since then and applied what he has learned when he coached USC after Kiffin was fired on the tarmac and again now...

If people will take the time to actually read Coach Os statements on his past and what other coaches and players have stated about his coaching since Ole Miss would learn something instead of constantly reposting these type of post...

Hmmm, coaching improvement through osmosis. Sounds plausible.

recruiting recruiting, recruiting and defense is where it is at . Offensive minded coaches has killed the big twelve and the pacific west coast ,I guess the negatigers feel left out !
