Spinoff from the moments with LSU greats.

Looking back what's the happiest you've ever been to be an LSU fan?

I'm going with UF 07 after being in the stadium for Hesters 4th quarter

I would say 2011 post New Orleans bowl, pre-BCSNCG.

The Cajuns had just won a bowl game which was amazing for us, LSU was having the most dominant season I've witnessed with my own eyes and I was pretty hopeful they'd finish it off with a title. Also, the Saints fielded the best team they've ever had in my opinion.

Fast forward to today, LSU and the Saints lose in gut wrenching fashion and the bowl game was vacated at ULL. 2011 was so close to being the best football season in Louisiana history. Sad days.

After suffering through the late 80's and early 90's (my formative years as a football fan) there is no better answer.

Oklahoma Sugar Bowl. I was an 8th grader so I still looked up to LSU football players as my heroes. Was in the Dome that night with my dad who had been a season ticket holder and taking me to at least 6 games a year since I was four. Seeing him cry as the clock hit zero because it meant so much to finally reach the top of the mountain after a three year climb was a moment I'll never forget.

Moment: Warren Morris HR. That 60 seconds was unbelievable in the stadium.

Day: Okla win like others wrote.

You will never be a happy fan for any school if you have that national championship or bust reaction for every sports team you follow.

I go to LSU sports events because it is entertainment and because the competition level throughout SEC makes it that way.

Did I want LSU to sweep Miss St this past weekend, absolutely. Was I disappointed they only won one game, yes, but after watching the other team you can understand why. Miss St played well. And that's life in most sports in the SEC.

LSU fans who think LSU should win every series and every game don't understand collegiate sports.

I get just as much of a thrill seeing top athletes at other schools just as much as LSU.

I was in Afghanistan watching this game. It made me happy for sure. Also, a unit from Oklahoma was at the same base as us and were big sooner fans.

That moment I realized I'm just a spectator and have no control over what happens on the field. Once you accept this, you become a lot less angry when things don't go your way.

How is Warren's homer the peak? We won the national title the next year, too.

For me ... Winning the SEC championship in 2011 and the 4 weeks after it.
