ESPNU was televising Finebaum before SECN even launched. He's pretty easy to avoid watching or listening to if he's that horrible.

Today he said that LSU still not the best team because theyt have not beat Saban in four years. Using that logic I guess Hugh Freeze and Old Piss are the best team. Saban is Hugh's bitch two years in a row.

He is a troll, but instead of trolling on TD, he gets paid a lot of money to do it on national TV in the guise of a college football expert, so he's at least a brilliant troll.

He's always been high on Alabama because they're frequently the best team in the SEC. Until we beat them, which I hope and pray AND think we'll do this year, we'll play second fiddle. He loves LSU fans and Leonard Fournette. He won't completely gush over us because that's not what he does. I have no problem with him. Just like any othee talking head with a show.

I find it hard to listen to that show, but not for the content. It's because the mics they use are awful and he always sounds like he's talking through a rolled up magazine.

Guy questions how successful LSU will be before the season due to valid concerns and our fans rush here and start thread after thread complaining about the lack of respect the media gives us

The thing with Finebaum is, yes, he has a Bama agenda. Yes, he spends a lot of time praising Nick Saban. Do I wish he would spend more time on LSU? Absolutely.
However, isn't it great that a four hour call-in show dedicated to SEC Football exists? Hell yes!!!
That is why I watch/listen to the Finebaum show.
Also, I watched/listened to the show in the summer months, and I never heard anything negative said about LSU. He gave Auburn waaaay too much praise, saying they would win the West. He also said LSU vs Auburn is the game he was anticipating the most in the month of September, so I'm not sure how he could tie that in with LSU barely becoming eligible for a bowl game.

The term "brilliant" is overused and in Finebaum's case inaccurate.
